CHINESE VISA INFORMATION
Visitors to China who enter China for sightseeing, to
be with friends and relatives, or for other personal
affairs will apply for the Tourist (L) visa.
Application for this visa should be made in person, by
proxy, or through a travel intermediary at the visa office of
the Embassy or Consulate General that may have purview of the state
of residence of applicant. No mail application will be accepted.
Documents required for Tourist (L) visa application.
* International passport with at least six months’ validity and one blank page.
* One completed set of visa application form - please click on icon on right to
retrieve required form in PDF file format (Adobe Acrobat Reader is required).
* One recent color or black-&-white 2”-by-2” photograph glued onto the
application form.
* Non-U.S. passport holders are required to submit original and photocopied documentary proof of valid
U.S. temporary foreign visitor or residency status, such as U.S. Permanent Residency Card (Green Card),
U.S. Work Permit, I-20 U.S. student visa form, or other relevant legitimate U.S. status information.
Validity of Tourist (L) visa.
U.S. citizens may apply for Single Entry (valid for 3 to 6 months), Double Entry (valid for 6
months), and Multiple Entry (valid for 6 or 12 months) as needed. The duration of stay in China
after immigration inspection on entry date is 30 days. If more than 30 days of continuous stay in
China is required, a proper statement for this longer period of stay must be clearly mentioned in
visa application form.
Fees & proccessing time for Tourist (L) visa application service.
Asia Vacation Tour can help you apply for the required Chinese visa for entry
into China. Visa processing typically takes about 4 to 5 business days, but we
strongly recommend that all visas be applied one month ahead of initial date
of travel. Our fee, inclusive of visa application and submission service charges,
is USD175.00 (excluding mail-back charges to your mailing address). This fee is uniform
and is regardless of the validity period or number of entries of the applied visa. It will be
applicant’s own responsibility to mail your documents and forms to us. Please be advised that
we do not guarantee any visa approval. All visa applications are on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of
